2nd year World Bee Day Celebration at Bayer Sathon!
Bangkok – Bayer Thai, Crop Science Division in cooperation with Kasetsart University (KU) celebrated the 2nd World Bee Day at Bayer Sathon office for raising awareness of the importance of pollinators and their contribution to sustainable development. Starting with Mr. Jim Kennelly, MD & CFO of Bayer Thai Co., Ltd. gave a very warm welcome and opening speech for “Architecture Student BEE DESIGN Competition Workshop”, followed by the 36 chosen architecture students from KU presented their attractive-catching concept design idea for Bee Learning Center logo, modern souvenir design including landscape surrounding for Bee Learning Center which planned to open at the end of this year located at KU Bangkaen. Additionally, there was also Pollinator Insect Exhibition and photo contest from the project “Bee Learning, Bee Lover” in promoting and discovering the beauty and diversity of Thailand's bees. Herewith, Assistant Professor Dr. Sutkhet Nakasathien, Dean of the faculty of Agriculture and Weraphon Charoenpanit, Country Commercial Lead, Thailand & Vietnam Bayer Crop Science presented the award to the winner of the photo contest including award for the winner of “Architecture Student BEE DESIGN Competition” program together with the professors from Deparment of Entomology, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Architecture.
